Forty days after the
resurrection of our Lord Jesus,
as disciples were watching, Christ ascended up
into
Heaven before their eyes. As they watch
eagerly,
two men in white clothing told His Disciples:
“Ye men of Galilee, why
stand ye
gazing up into heaven? This
same Jesus which is taken up
from you into heaven, shall so
come in like manner as ye have
seen him go into heaven.”
ACTS 1:11
That key scripture tells watchers plainly that
our
Lord Jesus Christ will return on a Day of
Ascension:
WHEN can that be?
CAN CHRISTIANS KNOW THE
TIME?
Uncommon to popular religious beliefs, Jesus
never
once hinted that His Own would be in darkness
as to His Coming. There IS a day and an
hour
whereby no man will know, not even Christ who
is
our Lord, God and Savior. That TIME was
when
“the heavens and the earth pass away" and that
occurs in the future when time no longer
exists
(Rev. 10:6). How could Jesus know of a
non-existent
time? (Matthew 24:35,36 & Revelation 21:1)
Prior to Christ’s awesome Ascension, he told
his
disciples at that time it was not for them to
know the
times or the seasons that were only in God’s
power
(Acts 1:7,8) “but ye shall receive power after
the
Holy Ghost is come upon you” Ten
days later, on
the 50th day after his Resurrection, that same
power
fell upon Christ’s first church and they were
given
signs and powerful miracles as God's Church
Age began.
(Acts 2:1-4)
WHAT CAN CHRISTIANS
KNOW?
Before power fell upon his early church, Jesus
said
“it is given to you to know mysteries of the
kingdom of heaven but to them it is not
given.”
(Matthew 13:11). God's Church have been given
to know his MYSTERIES and of Christ's Coming!
AS THE DAYS OF NOAH
& LOT WERE?
Jesus promised His Return would be LIKE the
days
of Noah and Lot. In their generations God’s
servants
knew the exact time of their redemption and
our Lord
shielded them from harm. (Luke
17:27-29, Genesis 7:4, 19:1-22)
Very much as the world is today, in Noah and
Lot's time all people were going about their
business
when their end came. People ate,
drank, bought,
sold, planted, builded, they married and gave
in
marriage, right up until devastation rained
upon
all wicked servants and all unfaithful were
lost in
their sins. We should all take notice what
Jesus said
about life in general going on AS USUAL!
LIVING LIFE AS USUAL?
It's quite evident the Antichrist was not on
the scene
at the time of this coming Rapture
because all God's
people were buying and selling at that
time. When he
comes this Antichrist will cause ALL, both
small and
great, rich and poor, free and bond to receive
his mark
in their right hand or forehead and no
one would be
able to buy or sell unless they receive the
mark of the beast (Rev.13:16-17).
The religious zealots will say,“it's setting
of
dates and that that's not God's Will.” That's
sad
because Jesus NEVER said that - most choose
not to rightly divide scripture. In 1st
Thessalonians
4:16,17 we see the Rapture whereas the
dead
in Christ rise first, then we which are alive
and
remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
WOW, AWESOME!
Apostle Paul makes it very clear that we must
have already known about the Rapture because
he
didn't have to write about it any further to
believers;
they will have a perfect knowledge that
the Lord will
come as a thief to the wicked when they
will say
“peace and safety!”
The world is not seeking Jesus,
God’s Prince of Peace, but they seek their
peace and safety without their God and Savior.
Therefore, when they shall say peace and
safety,
sudden destruction shall come upon them all,
and THEY shall not escape! But ye, brethren,
are not in darkness that that day should
overtake
you as a thief (1st Thess. 5:3-5).
In the Revelation (3:3) Jesus exhorts his
church
TO WATCH and if
they would not watch, he would
come upon them as a thief and they would not
know
the hour. There IS an escape for
all those who
accept Christ as Savior. (Luke 21:34-36)
In the year 2024, the Day of Ascension falls
on
Thursday May 9th and since the angels told
Christ's
Disciples His Return “shall
so come in like manner
as ye have seen him go into heaven,”
then a
reasonable watch for The Return might
very well be Thursday, May 9th, 2024.
Why's 2024 significant? The Living Word of God
is dateable, many students of the Bible have
ascertained that as literal by perusing
Genesis 5:3,11
onward through Matthew Chapter One by
generations.
Adam's Creation and sin fall to the First
Coming of
our Savior is as 4000 years of world testing
fulfilled.
Jesus Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem
of
Judea in 2 BC as God's
Grace for mankind and
being crucified, Jesus died on Passover, and
he rose
again the 3rd day in AD 31; his ascent
to GOD was 40 days later (Acts 1:11).
Jesus was on Earth 33 1/2 years with 3 1/2
years
ministry! When Christ was sacrificed on
Calvary at
Passover AD 31, 4,033 1/2 years were already
fulfilled of the 6,000 year sin-labor. The
remaining
2000 years of labor's 6,000 years began in
AD 31 and man's time should rightly
end in the year AD 2031.
The last seven years is the time of Israel's
trouble,
the Tribulation (Revelation 3:10); when
Almighty
God will revisit Israel, His Old Testament
Holy and
they shall look upon
Him (Jesus)
whom they pierced
(Zechariah. 12:10)
THURSDAY, MAY 9TH,
2024?
No
one knows the day they'll meet Jesus, so
accept Him as your
Savior now and be ready to
meet Him today? To be saved ask Jesus to be
your Savior, ask him to forgive your sins
and
believe that God raised Him from the dead.
(Romans 10:9,10) Christ's Return for
His church
just might be on the day of His AD 31
Ascension;
that was 40 days after he rose from the
dead.
Jesus might Return THURSDAY,
MAY 9TH, 2024?
