To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7 Regardless
of any sound documentation of biblical literacy, many religious people
accept almost anything their seminaries will teach as long as it sounds
right to a tin-ear or will agree with a non-seeking heart. This
should not be!
One of these theories infer that the ancient location of the Garden of Eden, the Bible’s origin of the Creation of Adam and Eve, was in the Tigris-Euphrates Valley of Mesopotamia in a region near the southern-most borders of present-day Iraq and Iran. As this tract will show, based on holy scripture, that philosophy has not one credential and that is part of religiosity’s problem in this last-day era of the transgression - Inferential theology! Jesus foretells His Disciples, “For there is nothing hid which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.” (Mark 4:22) That’s an absolute statement from a sovereign, perfect God Who cannot lie. Nothing is hidden from the seeker and the Word reveals the exact location of Eden, the Garden of God. The Word reveals the precise location of this elusive paradise of God; a place so awesome in splendor words cannot begin to define its beauty. The Prophet Malachi and the writer of the Book of Hebrews makes it clear that God is unchanging, He is the same yesterday and today, and for ever (Malachi. 3:6, Hebrews 13:8). As that’s fact, then whatever was holy to Almighty God in ancient times is still holy to Him today. The Garden of Eden was His first holy land whereby the Lord had divine fellowship with His first children and, in the midst of this Garden, there was the sacred, Tree of Life. (Genesis 3:22) The Tree of Life gave immortality to all who would drink thereof, yet when Adam and Eve chose to listen to the serpent in lieu of God, without repentance, they were cast out of this awesome splendor - yet their banishment was not intended to be forever for the seed of Adam. From the point of Adam’s fall to our present time, mankind came under the curse of labour and for the first time, man began to age. God gave His people a curse of six thousand years to labor even as He labored six days and rested on the seventh. Adam and Eve’s descendants were given a six-thousand year curse to complete their sin-labor before the curse would be lifted. After that labor, mankind could once again walk with God for a thousand year peace on the earth; like our foreparents did in the Garden of Eden. (Ps 90:4 & 2 Pe 3:8) Labour's Curse!
Being cast from the Garden was the initial curse of man’s labors yet once that test (4) was full, 4,000 years later, God allowed His holy people Israel, to reenter that sacred land that was by then called Caanan; a land of milk and honey. God is One and His Holy Land is One; a blessed land once known as Eden; then Canaan and now it is our present-day Holy Land of Israel. GOD's Land of Israel is so sacred and holy that the Lord wouldn’t allow sin to stain its ground and every time its inhabitants would sin in the land, they’d be cast out into captivity and then later, once the land had fulfilled its sabbaths, a new generation of holy people were allowed to re-enter. God’s holy people would sin again and again, never seeming to learn. For unrepentant sin Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden; centuries later for the same purpose, Abraham's see was starved out of Canaan into Egypt, and later their ancestors were cast out of Caanan into captivity in Persia and then into Babylon to serve their evil, adulterous enemies. History repeats itself throughout all the generations but man doesn’t learn from his ancestor’s failngs. (Ecclesiastes 3:15). During man’s absence from the holy land, God became its Caretaker and while the Garden’s awesome splendor faded into oblivion and remained uninhabited, God’s perfect will had always been to seek out His holy people, the Jews, to to enter into and replenish the land as its caretakers. God’s Holy Land could not possibly have been in the Tigris-Euphrates Valley of ancient Mesopotamia as those were the lands located east of Assyria in the land Genesis referred to as NOD where heathens have always dwelt. Quite simply the Word mandates that God sets His Tabernacle (dwelling place) among a people called to be holy that they would be His People and He would be their God. (Leviticus 26:11) God dwells in holiness! Babylon (Iraq) and Persia (Iran) have never been a holy people to the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac and the GOD of Jacob, but Adam, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were apples in God’s Eyes therefore the Garden of GOD is clearly Eden, Caanan and now Israel: they're one and the same location. Eden, Caanan and Israel are referred as God’s Vineyard (Daniel 8:9, Psalm 106:24, Isaiah 5:7) and also the Pleasant Land. Solomon referred to the land as a fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. (Song of Solomon 4:15,16) The Psalmist David wrote of the land as “the vineyard God’s planted” and that’s Eden. (Genesis 2:8, Psalm 80:15) The Tree of Life was in the Garden of Eden and Jesus being God incarnate, unchanging and The Alpha and The Omega, and we have a great clue in (Revelation 1:11-13 and 21:6, 22:1,2) because the Tree of Life is found descending in New Jerusalem - not a new Babylon or a new Persia. Eden’s Rivers of Genesis which came forth out of Eden breaking into four river heads, are Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and Euphrates. (Gen. 2:10-14). These rivers cannot be found in Babylon, Persia or ancient Mesopotamia, yet maps of ancient Caanan (circa 1200 BC) show a City called Adamah (Adam: First Man) in the midst and slightly eastward in the land of Caanan with four rivers heads. The river flowing westerly was Gihon - now found in God’s Vineyard as Qishon; before the Great Flood (2346 BC) river courses flowed differently, yet Hiddekel was said to flow eastwardly of Assyria and that River can only be the Jabbok, (Zarga) which flows eastwardly out of Assyria (Caanan) and it cannot be the Tigris as inferred by some scholars as Tigris flowed north in Mesopotamia, not Assyria. The pre-flood Euphrates ran north out of Adamah to Damascus and branched southerly. God has never set His Tabernacle with heathens and Israel is clearly His Old Testament Jews. Maps and God’s Word tell the story. Israel was Canaan and Canaan was Eden. Praise be to our Lord Jesus! If you’ve never accepted Jesus as your Savior, say this prayer and assure youself of eternal life and you’ll eat of God’s Tree of Life. JUST DO IT?
